1. Agreeing to these terms
By using Teen Paati Hisab at teenpaatihisab.in (the “app”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to use the app.
3. What the app is, and isn’t
The app is a record-keeping tool. It lets you note chip movements and calculate a settlement. It does not:
- deal cards, host or run any game, online or offline
- accept deposits, hold money, take bets or pay out winnings
- collect or send payments, or connect to UPI, wallets or banks
Points are the default unit. If you choose rupees, the amounts are only a record you keep for your own group. Any money that changes hands happens entirely between you and the people you play with, outside the app.
4. Following the law
Rules about card games and gambling differ between Indian states and between countries. You are responsible for making sure your game is legal where you play. Don’t use the app to record or help anything that is against the law.
5. Your data and your device
Your tables and history are stored only on your device. If you clear your browser data, switch phones or lose your device, that data is gone, and we can’t recover it.
6. Accuracy and disputes
The app’s totals and settlements are only as accurate as what was entered. Please check the counts with your group before anyone pays. We are not a party to your game and are not responsible for disagreements or payments between players.
7. Fair use
Don’t try to break, overload, copy at scale or misuse the website, or use it to harm others. We may block access that does.
8. Our content
The Teen Paati Hisab name, logo, design, text and illustrations belong to us. You’re welcome to share links to the app and screenshots of your own results.
9. Other services
Sharing uses WhatsApp or your device’s clipboard, the site is hosted by Netlify, and anonymous statistics are handled by Umami. Each of these is governed by its own terms.
10. No warranty
The app is free and provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and correct, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the app, including lost data, calculation mistakes, or money owed or paid between players.
12. Changes
We may update the app or these terms. When the terms change, we’ll update the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
